Bret Raybould
Bret Raybould is comedian, writer, and actor based in New York City. In 2020, he released his debut hour stand up special entitled “Bret Raybould Retires From Comedy,” in which he did in fact retire from stand up comedy. The album version of this special went #1 on iTunes, and got its worldwide debut on SiriusXM’s comedy channels. Why did he retire? Well, you can watch the special (available for free on his YouTube channel) or you can keep reading this bio. Ya see, deep in his heart, he harbored a secret: he wanted to be a singer. So, one day, he crafted the defining record of the 2000s: Bret On Bublé, a jazz masterpiece that covers the career-spanning journey of another fantastic – though lesser – jazz impresario, Michael Bublé. “This was both a tribute and a challenge to the Great Bublé,” Bret says. “It was my way of saying ‘I respect what you’ve built, but I’m coming for your throne.” Unfortunately, Bret had severely miscalculated his finances, and had to come out of his comedy retirement one month later to pay the bills. Bret is also the World’s First Publicly-Traded Comedian. That’s right. Bret launched BretTrade.com, a trading platform where people would be allowed to buy/sell shares of BretCoin. Bill Santiago is a native Spanglish speaker who became a stand-up comedian after narrowly escaping a career in journalism. With the premiere of his first special, Comedy Central Presents Bill Santiago, his mother finally stopped asking him to go to law school. He has appeared on The Late Show with Conan O’Brien, and his work has been published in the New York Times, Washington Post, Miami Herald, Los Angeles Times, Boston Herald, Philadelphia Inquirer, and San Juan Star. When not on stage, he enjoys curling up with a good book or a well-read, Spanglish-speaking woman. He lives in New York City.
