Danny Lipsitz is one of the most sought-after bandleaders, musicians, and entertainers in New York City. Danny leads his swing, jump blues, klezmer, and early rock ‘n’ roll band, The Brass Tacks, in captivating, feel-good music for people from all walks of life. An expert entertainer, Danny is known for his ability to read a room and form a deep connection with the crowd for a wide variety of audiences, rooms, and situations.<\/p>\n
The Brass Tacks perform regularly at jazz clubs, performing arts centers, festivals, private events, and sold out swing dance events on a 2022 tour of Asia. In 2024, they brought a 14-piece orchestra to headline “Summer For The City” at Lincoln Center, with an attendance of over 1,400 people.<\/p>\n
