A trained actor and director\, Melvin used his theatrical training as a member of “The Kitchen Table Comedy Team” in New York\, making appearances at Carnegie Hall\, The Village Gate and on several local TV shows. Melvin has appeared in concert with such celebrated artists as Chaka Khan\, Gladys Knight and the Pips\, Roberta Flack\, Patti LaBelle\, The Commodores\, The Temptations and The Four Tops. After a stellar career managing a deli in the Kingsbury Projects in downtown\, Trenton\, Brian realized education may be important. While working on his Bachelors and Masters degrees\, Brian performed in numerous plays in New York and New Jersey. He began appearing in independent films as well as commercials for Chase Bank\, Sega Video games\, the Comedy Pilot “Crash Life” and the Web Series “Celebrities”. He has been a private acting coach\, and has taught acting and directing at Rider Unviersity\, and Montclair State University. Brian has also directed numerous stage productions\, and helped develop the plays of many emerging playwrights.\nAs a Comedian\, he has performed all over the country as well as in New York City in clubs such as Carolines on Broadway\, Dangerfields\, and Comix.
